A former resident of Hartford, Providence and Queens, New York,  has pleaded guilty to sex trafficking involving a minor.  Federal prosecutors say 35-year-old Bruce Damico placed internet advertisements offering women and girls for sex, arranged their transportation and  booked the hotel rooms for their meetings with clients.  He was paid $100/day by each woman for his part of the enterprise.

Damico admitted knowing that one of the women whose photos he posted in his advertising was younger than 18

Damico,  who has been in federal custody since his arrest in Bloomfield more than two years ago,   faces a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment of 10 years and a maximum term of imprisonment of life at his sentencing in May.
