NORWALK, Conn. (AP) _ A chemistry teacher at Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk has pleaded not guilty to allegations he molested a 4-year-old boy.
The Hour of Norwalk reports that a lawyer for 67-year-old Victor Corso of Westport entered the pleas Wednesday in Stamford Superior Court. Corso is charged with third-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Police allege the boy was molested at Corso’s home on Dec. 16 while Corso was baby-sitting him. An arrest warrant affidavit says the allegations arose on Christmas Day when the boy made odd comments about his genitals to his mother.
Norwalk school officials say Corso has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal case.
Corso is free on a $25,000 bond. He’s due back in court Feb. 20.
