HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Gov.-elect Dan Malloy is launching a website where people can track the transition, offer ideas and apply for jobs in the new administration.

The new site, www.transition.ct.gov, was launched Friday.

Visitors to the website can fill out an online form and offer suggestions or ideas for Malloy and Lt. Gov-electNancy Wyman. Resumes and cover letters can be e-mailed to the site. Also, news releases and other items can be found there.

Malloy is set to become the state’s 88th governor, the first Democrat since William O’Neill left office in 1991, on Jan. 5.

Malloy is replacing Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell, who did not seek re-election. He says he plans to launch in the coming weeks and months additional ways for residents to stay in touch with him.
