One of the largest amphitheaters in the nation, Comcast Theater is a definite hotspot for summer concerts in Connecticut. With multiple parking lots and nearby businesses open to cars as well, tailgating is always huge in the summer months. One of the biggest summer concerts to be had at the Comcast Theater this year will be the Allman Brothers Band. On their first US tour, Train is sure to put on an amazing show at the Mohegan Sun Arena, just down the street from Foxwoods, at the Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino. The group has won numerous Grammy’s and their songs are familiar to anyone who regularly tunes in to top-40 radio. The arena is huge, yet there isn’t a bad seat in the house. What’s best is that you don’t even have to get in your car to drive for food or drink, as there is so much to do all under one roof. And if you’re lucky, you might just win big to pay for it all.
