A classic suit can be worn anywhere, and that’s why we love them. We hunted down four suit stores in Connecticut for both casual (think: to the office or for a job interview) and dressier occasions (weddings, anyone?) that will surely provide you with all your shopping needs.

This family owned business since 1989 offers men’s suits, separates, blazers and made to measure custom items. We love how they specialize in custom tailoring and alterations and same day service, because lets face it: an ill-fitting suit isn’t flattering on anyone. With such brands as Baroni, Coppley, and Jack Victor, among others, traditional two button, plain front, solid colored suits start at $597. Looking to really splurge? The Belvest Suit, made in Italy is double-breasted and made of 100% silk fetches $1,888.
