Conveniently located in Buckland Hills Mall in Manchester, the Hartford Funny Bone Comedy Club has been serving up laughs in Connecticut for over 25 years. Many famous comedians have gotten their start at the Funny Bone, including Dane Cook, Chris Rock, and even Jerry Seinfeld. In addition to a night of fun and laughter, the Funny Bone also offers a full restaurant menu so visitors can enjoy a good meal during the show.

Joker’s Wild Comedy Club in New Haven offers a nice mix of local and national comedians. Every Wednesday, Joker’s Wild holds an open mic night, where club goers can try their hand at stand-up comedy. National talent is featured on Thursday through Saturday nights each week. Joker’s Wild can also be booked for birthday parties, bachelor parties, etc.

Back in the 1980s, City Steam Brewery was known as Brown Thompson & Co., and housed a comedy club called the Last Laugh Comedy Club in the lower level of the restaurants. Acts such as Jay Mohr, Kevin James, and Ray Romano got their start there. When the venue took on the new name of City Steam in 1997, the club became known as the Brew HA HA.  The club books talent from all over the country, and holds shows every week on Thursday through Saturday.

Located at Foxwoods Casino, which is a destination in itself, Comix Comedy Club offers some of the biggest comedy acts in the country. The club is in the Grand Pequot Tower at Foxwoods, which is adjacent to the MGM Grand at Foxwoods. Well known upcoming acts at Comix include Cedric the Entertainer, and Andrew Dice Clay. In addition to national talent, Comix hosts open mic nights every Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
