Plato’s Closet South Windsor

90 Buckland Rd.
South Windsor, CT 06040
860-648-2125
platoscloset.com

Plato’s Closet is a chain of retail stores, and the South Windsor location will not let you down. They promise 70 percent off mall retail prices with a selection of brand names and designer items. All clothing is gently worn (if worn at all) and in good condition, as well as stylish. Items featured in the store have previously been in retail stores for 12 to 18 months before. The store does, however, cater to certain sizes. For women, it’s 0/1 to 15/16, and for men, it is size 28 to 40 waist. Plato’s Closet is open seven days a week (10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and noon to 5 p.m on Sunday), and with several locations to serve you, if there is something specific you are looking for that is not on the racks, you can ask the sales staff to suggest another location.

The Clothes Horse features brand name clothing of high quality, but also has a vintage section too, where you will certainly find some unique pieces. Salvation Army Thrift Store

West Hartford, CT
(860)953-6104
www.use.salvationarmy.org

Everyone has heard of the Salvation Army, but how many of us have been in one? Maybe it is time you paid a visit. Here is a collection of donated items at extremely reduced prices so you can either dress up yourself or your home. This Salvation Army is very trendy for local college students to get vintage clothing and decorations for their dorm rooms, while others go for their household items and appliances. The Salvation Army sticks out because they offer men’s designer clothing as well as a selection for women. So, you can both walk away in style. Or grab a couple of used bicycles on sale.
