This celebrity hair-obsession is all the rage for Hollywood Starlets from Nicole Ritchie to Ashley Tisdale. An ultra luxe straightening treatment (typically lasting 6-12 weeks) transforms curly, wavy, frizzy hair into silky, smooth tresses. Safe on all hair types (even dry/brittle) as well as color-treated strands, this wash-in-wear treatment is perfect for the busy woman on-the-go.

Recently, this treatment’s reputation has been criticized due to its use of formaldehyde, a strong chemical. However, many salons have now opted for Keratin-based formulas which use all-natural ingredients; producing similar results that one would get from a chemical-compound.

We’ve spotted the hottest salons that are performing this popular trend (chemical-free). Though buyer-beware: it will cost a pretty-penny – $350-$400 per treatment.
