Women’s History Month
Realizing just how much women have contributed to the nation’s history, the entire month of March is now deemed “National Women’s History Month.” Happily, there are plenty of places in Connecticut celebrating women this month with events, activities, art and lectures.
Women’s History Month (March) is a time to celebrate the contributions, bravery, suffrage and historic fight that women have endured across the centuries. Connecticut is rich in history and women’s history is no exception. From the American Revolution to today, women have inspired generations of people to stand up, fight, reform, comfort, nurture and excel in business.
