Giants Need To Improve, Maintain Focus Despite Short Work Week

The New York Football Giants were able to chalk one up in the win column on Sunday, as the squad raised its record to 1-2 on the season. The Washington Redskins have an identical 1-2 record, after losing a heart-breaker 37-34 at Philadelphia on Sunday. Both team face a short turnaround in preparing for their Thursday night battle.

Giants Lose Manning, Beat Redskins 20-6 In Season Finale

The New York Giants limped past the lifeless Washington Redskins 20-6 in the rainy Meadowlands. New York lost quarterback Eli Manning to an ankle injury late in the first half, but rode two Jerrel Jernigan touchdowns to the victory. The loss likely ends the Mike Shanahan-era in Washington.
