Giants’ Cruz Has Knee Surgery, Ruled Out Against Lions

The New York Football Giants increased an already lengthy injury list by adding star receiver Victor Cruz to the walking wounded this week. The Detroit Lions are crossing their fingers that All Pro receiver Calvin Johnson and leading tackler DeAndre Levy can suit up against New York.

Jacobs Goes To IR, JPP Remains Out As Giants Tackle Seahawks

New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul has endured a season that he would like to forget, and the former All-Pro defensive end will miss his third straight contest with an injured shoulder this week. The G-men also placed veteran running back Brandon Jacobs on injured reserve on Wednesday, ending his season. The visiting Seattle Seahawks will be missing starting linebacker K.J. Wright as they seek to cement the top seed in the NFC playoffs.

As the New York Football Giants head into the last quarter of their regular season, the team’s playoff hopes are hanging by a thread. Since the Giants are missing Jason Pierre-Paul again this week, New York will look toward the invigorated Justin Tuck to anchor the pass rush. Giants Wilson & Rogers Go To IR, Kuhn & Brown Activated

A disappointing 2013 season came to a premature end for New York Giants halfback David Wilson yesterday. The second year player from Virginia Tech was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the G-men, who activated running back Andre Brown from the injured list as well. Meanwhile, the Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden sat out practice with a pulled hamstring and looks unlikely to play on Sunday.

New York Giants: 5 Players That Need To Improve In Second Half Of Season

The New York Football Giants had their worst start since 1976, and the team did not get its first win until Week 7 of the regular season. After beating the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football, the G-men went down to Philadelphia and defeated the Eagles 15-7 to complete their first half at 2-6. With eight games remaining, including three with division rivals, Dallas and Washington, New York still has eyes on a division title. Giants Head To Philadelphia Amidst More Changes Along Offensive Line

The New York Football Giants seek to extend their winning streak to a modest two games as the team faces the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The Giants fluid offensive line situation changed again this week, after starting center David Baas was placed on season ending injured reserve. Wilson Is Out, Jacobs To Start As Giants Face Off Against Bears

Injuries have been mounting for the 0-5 New York Giants; it seems that each game a different starter goes down with a serious injury. This week starting running back David Wilson has been ruled out with a neck injury. For the Bears, starting cornerback Charles Tillman may miss Thursday’s game with a knee injury, and linebacker Lance Briggs is nursing injuries to his foot and hip. Both Tillman and Briggs will be game-time decisions for the Bears.

Offensive Line in Flux As New York Giants Prepare For Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs sport an unblemished (3-0) record, while the New York Giants are a winless (0-3). The Chiefs were able to put away Andy Reid’s former club, the Philadelphia Eagles 26-16 last Thursday night. The Giants suffered through a 38-0 embarrassment at the hands of the Carolina Panthers that left the team battered and bruised, especially on the offensive line.
