Bob Dylan Honored as MusiCares Person of the Year, to Receive Tribute from Jack White, Neil Young, More
Fifty-some years into his career, Bob Dylan is still racking up awards.
Neil Young is still rockin’ in the free world.
The legendary 68-year-old musician was celebrated Tuesday night by the producers and engineers wing of the Recording Academy.

The GRAMMY Hall of Fame was established in 1973 to honor recordings of lasting qualitative or historical significance that are at least 25 years old. According to GRAMMY.org, inductees are selected by a “special member committee of eminent and knowledgeable professionals from all branches of the recording arts.”
The Global Citizen Festival coincides with the U.N. General Assembly. Fans earned free tickets for helping spread the word or volunteering to help end world poverty. Some world leaders attended, including Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
