When the 49ers and Seahawks meet for the third time this season the stakes could not be higher. The winner will move on to the Super Bowl, while the loser will have to deal with falling just short of the big stage and to make matters worse at the hands of their hated division rival.

Saints Can’t Stop Marshawn Lynch Yet Again In Sloppy Loss To Seahawks

The New Orleans Saints played a much better game on defense as they faced off with the Seattle Seahawks this time, but there were plenty of other problems. It was a hard-fought effort and a really good season, but the road woes have got to stop.

Manning Throws 5 Interceptions, Seattle Dismantles New York 23-0

The Seattle Seahawks came to the Big Apple looking to maintain its position as the top seed in the NFC playoff hunt. The New York Giants had very little to play for, since they were eliminated from playoff contention last week. Seattle dominated New York defensively and shut out the G-men, 23-0, in a lackluster affair at MetLife Stadium.

Giants Pride Will Be Put To Test By Visiting Seahawks

Maybe the New York Football Giants are not used to playing the role of spoiler, but that’s all they have left after an uninspired loss to the San Diego Chargers signaled the death knell for the team’s 2013 playoff chances. Now the visiting Seattle Seahawks come to town, looking to cement the first overall seed in the NFC, and hopefully a return trip to MetLife Stadium in February.
