Invasive Species Spreads To Massachusetts

The emerald ash borer, the invasive species from Asia first found in the United States in 2002, and identified in Connecticut earlier this summer, has now spread to Massachusetts.

Ash Borer Closer To New England

The invasive beetle that has destroyed tens of millions of ash trees over the past decade has been found east of the Hudson River for the first time, marking its closest known threat to New England.
