Dredging Disposal Site Recommended Near New London Harbor

Federal environmental officials have been told that a current dredge disposal site about 3.5 miles south of New London Harbor is the most suitable for handling sediments dredged from navigation channels, harbors and marinas.

Housatonic Dredging Planned

For the first time in more than 30 years, the Housatonic River will be dredged, removing 50,000 cubic yards of sand.
