Audit: Half Of State Prosecutors Miss Training

A new audit says half of Connecticut’s prosecutors didn’t meet their annual training requirements for the 2009 and 2010 fiscal years despite previous reports noting the same problem dating back to when training was first mandated in 1998.

State Senate Clarifies Prison Credits

The Democratic-controlled Connecticut Senate voted Friday evening to place limits on which prisoners should be allowed to shorten their sentences by earning credits for good behavior under a new program.
