The mother of a Waterbury teen who was killed in 2012 hit-and-run accident has gone to court in an attempt to get the driver resentenced.
A woman has been arrested after stabbing her boyfriend in the leg Thursday night, police said. Meriden Police were dispatched to the corner of Twiss and Miller Streets at around 6:00 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Anthony Lyons, 44, inside a car with a serious stab wound to his leg. He was brought to Midstate Medical Center where he was stabilized and brought into surgery.
