Four construction workers carrying a cast-iron tub to the second floor of a house under construction in Fairfield were injured when the stairs gave way and they fell unto the basement.

Workers Injured At Health Center Building Renovation

Five construction workers working on renovations at a lab building at the University of Connecticut Health Center were taken to the Emergency Department at Dempsey Hospital after the partial collapse of the area they working on. Four of the five had been released by 6:30 p.m.
