Chickens Seized From Condemned Home

The state’s Department of Agriculture seized nearly 200 chickens from a condemned house in Plainville Friday.

Animal control officers seized a horse, two miniature horses, a donkey, a pig, a goat, 18 chickens, six guinea fowl and six turkeys, as well as four dogs and a cat, which were found to be living in inhumane conditions at a home in Oxford Tuesday.
