Crews Battle Devil’s Hopyard Fire

DEEP crews battled a fire in Devil's Hopyard State Park, by setting smaller fires around the edge, as fire stops, to consume leaves and branches that might otherwise feed the large fire. The fire was partially surrounded by roads, which act as a fire break. Officials were hoping the flames would burn themselves out. Photo by WTIC's Matt Dwyer.
