Manning, Tuck Team Leaders In Giants Win Over Redskins

The New York Giants remained in the playoff hunt with a come from behind victory over the Washington Redskins on Sunday Night Football. Robert Griffin III started hot, but cooled off as Justin Tuck rattled the Redskins quarterback with four sacks. Meanwhile Giants quarterback Eli Manning completed 22 of 28 passes for 235 yards and one touchdown, as New York improved to 5-7 on the season.

Pierre-Paul, Jacobs Ruled Out Of Giants – Redskins Clash

The New York Giants collectively bruised their egos last week by losing a critical match-up to Dallas, 24-21, at MetLife Stadium. This week, New York added backup center Jim Cordle to the injury list and will shuffle its offensive line yet again. The Redskins were pummeled by the San Francisco 49ers in prime time, but Washington also has a limited injury list in this battle of also-rans.

Deflated Giants Take On Reeling Redskins In Prime Time

On paper before the season, this game had all the makings of knock-down, drag-out affair as two bitter NFC rivals would meet for the first time in 2013. But reality got in the way for both the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins, as both teams have stumbled through the NFL season. Good Ground Game Not Enough, Giants Fall To Cowboys

With a windy MetLife Stadium as a backdrop for a key NFC East matchup, the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys battled for a full 60 minutes. A Dan Bailey field goal from 32 yards out with no time remaining propelled the Cowboys to a 24-21 victory over the Giants.

Tony Romo threw two touchdowns and led a drive that set up Dan Bailey’ 35-yard field goal on the final play as the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Giants 24-21 Sunday.
