DURHAM, Conn. (WTIC Radio) – State police have arrested a student at Coginchaug Regional High School in Durham over a social media post that they say disrupted the school’s atmosphere and caused “annoyance and alarm.”

Police say the “suspicious” post– reported last Friday– did not contain a physical threat. However, given the circumstances, the student has been charged with breach of peace.

The student is due in Middletown Juvenile Court March 14.
