(Cheshire, CONN. / CBS Connecticut)– Cheshire Police have arrested a high school student they say made a threat.

Multiple reports say Superintendent Jeff Solan sent an email to parents Sunday, saying the threat was “serious but generic.” He says the student did not specify an individual or school in the threat.

Police have charged the student with first degree threatening, and say there will be extra officers at the high school Monday.
