(GUILFORD,Conn./WTIC News)– A freshman at Guilford High School is dead after a shooting Wednesday afternoon at 104 Seaside Avenue in town.Police and Guilford Fire rescue responded to the home around 3:30 pm.The were two teenage boys in the home,one, 15 year old Ethan Song was suffering from a gunshot wound.He was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Song’s death.

The Guilford Police Department is working closely with Guilford Public Schools to ensure students attending school Thursday have the resources they need to deal with the tragedy.

The school’s Crisis Response Team will be available for any students in need.
