National Guard Plane Makes Emergency Landing At Bradley

EAST GRANBY, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A Connecticut National Guard C-130 cargo plane made an emergency landing at Bradley Air National Guard Base Wednesday afternoon.

The plane had taken off five minutes earlier and experienced a small amount of smoke in the cockpit, forcing the aircraft to turn around, according to a National Guard spokesman.

The plane, with its crew of five, landed without incident. The source of the smoke is under investigation.
