United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut recently launched its Summer Smarts initiative to ensure children have fun learning activities and continue to receive nutritious meals when school isn’t in session.

Paula S. Gilberto, United Way President, and CEO and Marie Jarry, Director of Youth and Family Services at Hartford Public Library, speak to how their organizations are working to ensure children have access to educational experiences this summer.
