Man Dies In Newtown Motorcycle Crash

(Newtown, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Police in Newtown say a Tuesday crash involving a motorcycle left the driver dead.

Investigators say it was just around 5:30 p.m. when they responded to the crash on Riverside Road in the Sandy Hook section of town.

Police say 37-year-old Martin Amidon of Newtown was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

Newtown police are requesting anyone with any information to give them a call.
