Toddler Taken To Hospital; May Have Been Hit By Vehicle

KILLINGLY, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A 2-year-old was taken to a Rhode Island hospital after possibly being hit by a vehicle Saturday afternoon in South Killingly, said state police.

Emergency crews were dispatched to Ledge Road just before 2:30 p.m. Life Star helicopter was requested, but was unable to fly due to weather.

The child was taken by ambulance to Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence. There was no immediate word on the toddler’s condition.
