Former Ambulance Association Chief Under Arrest

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A former chief of the Wethersfield Volunteer Ambulance Association has turned himself in to face a larceny charge.

Police say Philip Lombardo, 48, of Wethersfield used the association’s credit and debit cards to make purchases for his own benefit.

Lombardo turned himself in last week. He’s free on $100,000 bond and scheduled to appear in New Britain Superior Court on March 27.
