Hartford Police Make Arrest In August 2016 Murder

HARTFORD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Hartford police have made an arrest in a fatal shooting last August.

Joseph Jiles, 40, was gunned down along Cleveland Avenue August 18 in a confrontation.

Monday morning, police say Jonathan Willis, 49, turned himself in to face charges of murder, criminal use of a firearm, and criminal possession of a firearm.

Willis was held on one-million dollars bond pending arraignment in Hartford Superior Court.
