(Clinton, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – The water watch continues with little or no rain in sight for the near future.
Connecticut Water Company, after having asked customers to cut back on usage by 10-percent this summer, is asking its customers reduce even more, to 15-percent.
David Connors is the director of service delivery for Connecticut Water.
He says they are concerned but they’re still a ways away from pressing the proverbial panic button.
Connors says customers can chip in by taking shorter showers, not running water while brushing teen, and no watering lawn excessively.
He says at this point, their reservoirs are at around 65-percent capacity.
