(Simsbury, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Simsbury police are investigating a bank robbery in town earlier this morning.

Investigators say a little after 10 a.m., a lone suspect walked into the TD Bank branch on 714 Hopmeadow Street.

In surveillance pictures released by police, the suspect is a white male, wearing a dark blue jacket zipped up the front, dark gloves, a tan baseball cap with dark glasses on the bill.

Police didn’t say whether a weapon was shown or implied or whether the robber made off with any cash.

There were no injuries.
