(Clinton, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – The Clinton teenager who posted videos of a weaponized drone firing a gun into the woods is now facing new charges.
Police say 19-year-old Austin Haughwout turned himself in this morning on sexual assault charges.
The warrant for his arrest was issued after a lengthy investigation involving multiple agencies, police said.
Haughwout is facing charges of enticing a minor, attempted sexual assault, and risk of injury to a minor.
The warrant has been sealed by the court.
Haughwout was arrested this summer for possessing child pornography on his cell phone.
He came to prominence for a 14-second YouTube video that showed a drone firing the gun and another showing drone equipped with a flamethrower.
Haughwout is being held on $25,000 bond pending an appearance in Middletown Superior Court.
