(Hartford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Connecticare will remain in the state’s health care exchange.
The insurer announced today it has rescinded it’s termination notice and will move ahead for next year at rates approved by the state insurance department.
Connecticare sent notice earlier this month of its intentions to leave the exchange.
In a statement today, Connecticare said its also withdrawn legal appeals in the courts and with the insurance department.
Connecticare has nearly 50,000 customers who obtain their coverage through Access Health CT.
Their leaving would have left only one insurer in the exchange.
