Man Charged With Trying To Take ‘Upskirt’ Photos

VERNON, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – A Hartford man is under arrest, accused of trying to take “upskirt” photos of a customer at the Salvation Army Store in Vernon, said police.

Michael Tedford, 32, was arrested Sunday in connection with the incident which Vernon police say occurred on July 7 at the store on Hartford Turnpike.

Police say Tedford used a cell phone in an attempt to take photos up the skirt of a female customer at the store. Investigators found incriminating images on Tedford’s phone, according to police.

Tedford is charged with voyeurism, second-degree breach of peace, possession of drug paraphernalia– and operating a motor vehicle without a license, because police say he drove to the store without a license.

Tedford posted a $1,000 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court September 13.
