This Morning With Ray Dunaway August 25, 2016

Here’s what’s coming up this morning with Ray Dunaway.

6:50- Edward Cooper, Vice President, Public Affairs & Community Relations at Total Wine & More is responding to customers, who demand and deserve fair prices on wine and spirits.  Total Wine & More filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut challenging the state’s antiquated laws and regulations that force customers to pay more.

8:20- Max Eden is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, and he talks about Pre-K’s dangerous tradeoffs. Progressives are willing to skimp on safety to achieve their policy goals.

8:50- Abby W. Schachter is a regular contributor to The Weekly Standard, Acculturated, and Reason among other publications. Her latest book is No Child Left Alone: Getting the Government Out of Parenting. As kids head back to school this year, some parents are celebrating a victory in the battle to improve their children’s education. It isn’t better textbooks or an improved curriculum or even better teachers… It’s more recess.

All this, plus Weather and Traffic on the 8′s and much more.  Tune in to WTIC NewsTalk 1080 or Click Here to listen online.  And while you’re at it, catch up on Ray Dunaway’s new daily blog
