Armed Robbery Investigation In Voluntown

(Voluntown, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – State Police detectives are investigating an early morning robbery at a Voluntown gas station.

Troopers from the Troop E barracks in Montville responded to an alarm at the Mobil station around 3 a.m. on Main Street.

They say at least one of the suspects was armed with a knife.  The suspects had already fled by the time troopers arrived on scene.

Police say they made off with an undetermined amount of cash.

They do say they’re looking for three males standing between five-foot-seven and 6-feet tall, all wearing dark clothing with hoods, dark gloves and black sneakers.

The suspects fled on foot toward Pendleton Hill Road.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Troop E at (860) 848-6532.

They can also text TIP711 with the information to 274637.
