(Putnam, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – A shooting in Putnam Monday night has left one person injured.
State Police say they were dispatched to a home on Pomfret Street in town little after 9 p.m. on a report of a shooting.
The male victim was taken first to Day Kimball Hospital before being airlifted to UMass General via Life Star chopper.
There’s no word on the victim’s condition or name and troopers haven’t said if they have any suspects in mind or a motive.
They do say the shooting was an isolated incident and that there’s no danger to the public.
The Eastern District Major Crime Squad is leading the investigation.
