(Wethersfield, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – There’s some encouraging news on the jobs front in Connecticut.
The state Labor Department says Connecticut added 1,700 jobs to the rolls for the month of July.
That brought the unemployement rate down a tenth of a percentage point from June, to 5.7 percent.
This also comes after the June gains were revised downward from 7,900 to 5,800.
