Police Seize Eight Pounds Of Marijuana In Glastonbury

(CBS Connecticut) — Police confiscated eight pounds of marijuana, crack, counterfeit money, and ‘marijuana edibles’ during a search of a home on Naubuc Avenue in Glastonbury.

Officers say they learned that large amounts of pot were being shipped to Glastonbury through a package delivery service.  They tied the packages to 132 Naubuc Avenue.

Two residents of the home were arrested, 30-year-old Dustin Wade and  30-year-old Stephanie Kahn.  A child was also removed from the home and given to the state Department of Children and Families.

The two 30-year-olds face drug dealing charges and are accused of interfering with police.  Kahn is also accused of forgery.

Police say Wade was also wanted for violating parole in California on armed robbery, home invasion, and drug charges.

Investigators expect to arrest two other residents of the house.

Wade and Kahn are next due in court in Manchester September 2.
