(Hartford, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Single family home sales rose in the month of May, according to Connecticut REALTORS.
Home says in the state jumped 9.6 percent when compared to the same time a year ago.
The median sales price of $250,000 was a 3.8 percent decrease for the same period.
Total units sold in May were slightly more than 3,000; that number was just shy of 2,800 in May of last year.
Nationwide, home sales for May 2016 were up 4.5 percent. Regionally, the number of homes sold was 11.6 percent.
