(WALLINGFORD,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  –   Wallingford Police have arrsted a suspect in an October robbery at the CVS Pharmacy on North Colony Road.44 year old John Buono  was developed as a person of interest during  the investigation, and was seen  pumping gas at  a station on North Turnpike Road  Friday afternoon.He was taken into custody without incident.

Buono is accused  of implying he had a firearm and demanding  Oxycodone pills from the pharmacist.Police say he fled with  more than 12 hundred of the pills.The street value of the pills is estimated at well over $10,000.

Buono is charged with  Robbery in the First Degree,Possession of Narcotics  and Possession of Narcotics wit Intent to Sell.

He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court  April 19.
