Search And Seizure Warrants Executed At 2 Hartford Businesses

(HARTFORD,Conn./CBS Connecticut)  –  Hartford  Police  have arrested three people  after executing  search and seizure warrants at two “City Gas” stations,one on Albany Avenue and the other on White Street.

The warrants   carried out  by the Hartford Police  Department Vice and  Narcotics Unit , in conjunction with  Agents from the State Department of Revenue Services resulted in the seizure  of counterfeit clothing and a  large amount of  synthetic marijuana  and bath salts which were hidden  in the  ceiling tiles of the businesses.Also seized, a large amount of untaxed cigarettes.

Charged are   50 year old Shiraj Mohammed of Newington, 33 year  old Ahmed Mustak of Hartford and  51 year old Mohammed Shaheen of New Britain.

The  businesses have been closed down and the investigation is continuing.
