(CBS Connecticut) — Wallingford’s Zoning Board of Appeals meets tonight, to consider the noise coming out of the Toyota Oakdale Theatre during concerts.
Venue owner Live Nation Connecticut President Jim Koplik says it would be too expensive to completely block all of the noise from the theatre.
“If we can’t make an agreement with the town council for us to not fall under that town sound [rules], then we will be forced to close,” Koplik said. “We cannot follow the sound ordinance in Wallingford, it is very unreasonable.”
Some neighbors have complained about the noise at concerts.
