(Glastonbury, Conn./CBS Connecticut) – Glastonbury police have released the name of a man whose body was found floating on the Connecticut River earlier this month.

He’s been identified as 49-year-old Noel Hernandez of Hartford.

His body was initially was spotted on the river a little before 7 p.m. on May 9.

Hernandez’s body was recovered near 252 Welles Street in Glastonbury.  Police are still awaiting autopsy results before they release a cause of death.
