ENFIELD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) _ A 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the Thompsonville section of Enfield Wednesday night.
Police were called to reports of shots fired on Prospect Street around 9 p.m. and found the man suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he was pronounced dead.
Police Chief Carl Sferazza says they’re looking into a vehicle, pulled over on I-91 Southbound at Exit 34 that appears to be stolen. He says police believe the suspect(s) could be the occupant(s) of that vehicle.
A gun was found in the stolen vehicle.
An active investigation continues through the overnight.
