Hartford, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) – Hartford police arrested 13 people today for causing a peaceful disturbance.

The protestors were on hand to argue in favor of a $15-an-hour minimum wage.

They marched up Washington Street to a McDonald’s where they staged a sit-in.

All were charged with disorderly conduct.

They were given community court summonses and are due to appear September 12.

The protest was among hundreds held in cities across the country calling for that higher minimum wage.
