(CBS Connecticut)— Two acclaimed illustrators are joining the faculty of Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts of the University of New Haven.

Dale Stephanos and John Sideriadis bring extensive experience in print, film, TV, and electronic media that will strengthen the program significantly.

Stephanos, who is known for his witty and unique style of characterizing politicians, authors, and musicians, has illustrated for The New York Times, Newsweek, Entertainment Weekly, and The Washington Post to name a few.

Sideriadis’ expertise is in science fiction, fantasy art, and mythological storytelling.  His work ranges from feature films, television shows, video games, and novels to comics, board games, trading cards and album covers.

Stephanos and Sideriadis will be joining award-winning illustrator David T. Wenzel.  Wenzel is well-known for his graphic novel adaptation of Tolkien’s The Hobbit.

Lyme Academy College’s mission is to “educate aspiring artists through a rigorous studio curriculum rooted in figurative and representational art.”   With this all-star faculty, they will be able to do just that.
