Water Main Break in Bloomfield Repaired

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut)  –   A water main break on Park Avenue in Bloomfield has been repaired with water fully restored at 4:25 a.m. Wednesday.

Water service was  shut down just before 8 p.m. Tuesday on Park Avenue from Revere Drive to opposite 321 Park Avenue.

The shut down affected 31 single family homes, the Bloomfield Convalescent Home, the Carmen Arace Middle School and New Testament Church.

Road repairs continue through 5:30 a.m.
