2 Arrested In Separate Bradley Airport Weapons Checks
(Windsor Locks, Conn./CBS Connecticut) - State police say they arreseted two men in separate incidents at Bradley International Airport who had weapons in their baggage on Wednesday.
In the first incident, a little after 3:30 p.m., they say 51-year-old Theodore Franklin Low of Douglasville, Georgia was caught with two loaded handguns, in each of his two checked baggage.
Low faces two counts each of carrying a pistol without a permit, reckless endangerment, and tampering with airports.
His bond was set at $10,000.
Then, about three hours later, state police say 63-year-old Richard Damio of Lake Alfred, Florida was arrested.
Authorities say Damaio had brass knuckles in a carry-on bag.
He was charged with tampering with airports and carrying and sale of dangerous weapons.
Bond in that case was set at $2,500.
